Summary
Both these presidents were infamous as they were both in the office at a time of peace. When Nixon resigned Gerald Ford became president- known as the straight forward president as he "restored the nations faith in government". When Ford resigned, Jimmy Carter was president and was known for his actions in the SALT II talks.
